Yeah, that was ugly. Until the David Tomlinson style goal (2 men short), I thought BU was actually playing better than Maine was, other than on the scoreboard. Then the wheels fell off, and I mean WAY off. Terrible coverage, terrible giveaways, just all bad. Have to give props to Oullette though, he really kept Maine in it when it was still a game.

I'd say Maine avenged the "last second of OT" loss from last year.

The only positive is the fact that our next game is against UConn.

You think this team will "handle" UCONN? They'll be lucky to score a goal the way they're skating right now. I hate to say it but the huskies will win, guessing by two or more.

I think the team will rebound and win comfortably. I don't think they are as bad as they looked last night. We knew they would have bad games given all the freshmen, and I agree that my expectations for them have dropped after last night, but I don't think this is a terrible team. How they play against UConn will tell me a lot about the captains, the coach, and of course, expectations for the rest of the way.

I love how certain posters only poke their head out of their mom's basement when the team throws up a stinker. Fellowship of the miserable indeed.

I didn't see a second of the game last night. I really thought this team would build off their four unanswered vs PC. WRONG AGAIN

BU throwing up a stinker had nothing to do with me poking my head out of mom's basement so let's get that straight. Terrence's inane posts did the trick!

My wife wanted to do that in the 2nd. I told her to look on the bright side. The ride home would seem shorter than the game.

Why was Ryan on the 3rd line? His play hasn't improved from last week. Why not Collier? He at least knows how to play the position.

The one positive last night was that Quinn's focus on bad penalties seems to have their attention. I was happy not to see a bunch of frustration penalties after the game got out of hand.
