Only 20 shots on goal against??? That's got to be the fewest in the last three years. Someone should look that up (if anybody cares). Of course, it's Jeff Jackson, so that's a factor.

Painful to watch, especially after the two great Olympic games the past two days...

Notre Dame missed the net, on so many different occasions, especially in the 2nd period. I watched the game at a bar and thought to myself "there's no way they had more than 5 shots in that period." Low and behold they had a grand total of 2! It was either a misfire or trying to be too cute. Either way, they won the game.

Poor Matt Lane. What did he do to be exiled to the third line? Sort of kidding ...

After watching the game last night I have to say that Quinn's body language and reaction to in-game setbacks is really off-putting. Every little thing that goes wrong he has that "You no-talent, craptastic bastids! I was an NHL assistant coach last year!" blank stare on his face. It's annoying.

He can't skate so the game plan must be to have him park it at the top of the crease and pray a slap shot hits him in the skate and goes in. Interesting strategy, we'll see if it pays off.
