I opened us up for part III. if this season really deserves a third thread.

Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

good news is bu could be heading back to south bend in two weeks for a playoff game!! :p

Unsubscribe. Signing off Ladies and Gents. I'm going to stick my head in the sand until next November. If the team is ok, I'll come back. They've lost me.

Your namesake played at ND. And here's a question for the board what schools did the following transfers come from John Corriveau Dick Lamby Grant Goegan and Scott Neiland and vice versa where did the following transfer to: Lappins Russ Bartlett Bruce Milton Paul Miller

Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

and dick lamby played at salem st, then played on the 1976 us olympic team, THEN came to bu and won a national title!! everyone knows that ;)

Lamby was playing in Europe when Parker called him to play at BU. In October.

Lamby was as good a skating and offensive dman BU has ever had for that one season with the exception of maybe Vic Stanfield. With OCallahan Leblond and ONeill that was a serious d core

Late to the party, but they wanted to wear our Frozen Fenway jerseys in front of the home crowd. We're most likely wearing the Green tomorrow for Senior night as we have done every Senior night in the six years I've had season tickets there. Off topic but what happened this year? Just a down year for you guys? I know you've kicked *** in the past so it was suprising to see you guys at the bottom as the season went on.

New coach, no talent.

This is a serious D corps, but from a different perspective.

Then I'll assume you didn't see Bobby Brown, All-American for both the 71 and 72 national champs. Still owns the BU record for most goals by a D in one season--17--accomplished in just 31 games. 17-43-60 An excellent skater, he was the lynchpin in the 40% power play in 70-71.

Lamby's 77-78 numbers were pretty impressive, too. 15-44-59 in 30 games.

He wasn't the only Terrier to win a national championship after going to the Olympics. Tim Regan was a back-up goalie on the '72 silver medal U.S. squad at Sapporo. Then authored a 4-0 shutout of Cornell in the N/C game, earning the MVP. Or is it the MOP? His 1.77 GAA in 70-71 remains the BU record, but it's a bit misleading since that squad rarely shared the puck with the opposition.

Yes of course forgot about him, was a big fan of Peter Brown as well.
