Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

So looking at Vermonts schedule/record. They are in the midst of an 8-game "road trip" - what are they doing, renovating the Gut?

How has Vermont played Maine 4 times? Well if that is correct, they did beat them three of those times, and just split with Northeastern. And an overall good record. 12-8 or something.

So no easy W's this weekend, but I feel that the losing will stop with one of these two games. It can't go on forever, right?

Of note Vermont is the only team to date to beat Maine in Orono...

and just split with Northeastern.

Outshooting NU 48-19 in the 3-2 loss. Would have been a sweep if not for an outstanding performance by Witt.

I see no reason why it can't. At least maybe it could go on for another weekend, then you guys got a game against UMAss

I think a couple of games were non-confs that were needed to fill out the schedule.

Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

They hustled throughout most of the game and appeared to care. That's all I've been looking for the past few weeks: effort.

Oksanen almost completed his "signature move", that is let the puck dribble through his legs and give up a break away. Macguire stopped the bid and saved his bacon.
