Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

Matt Grzelcyk is out for the rest of the season due to shoulder injury according to the Boston Hockey Blog twitter. Good Lord.

Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

at this point wouldn't you just prefer him rest up for next year?

I'm in this boat too. This season is a wash out. How long has he had this injury? Could explain some of the problems he's been having on the ice.

He injured it last Thursday in practice. I'm not sure what problems you are referring to? He has been arguably their best player as of late.

I know a separated shoulder is nothing to scoff at though there are varying levels of severity to that injury. We had heard nothing to the effect that it was going to be a long-term injury. That was the surprise in my mind. I agree that he was going to need to be very healthy to justify him playing.

16 skaters available this Friday against BC. Yikes.

Keep calm and Baillargeon.....

Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

On a more positive note, they offered hockey season ticket holders free tickets to Mondays basketball game against Loyola. I'm taking them up on this one.

Re: BU 2013-14 (Part II): Crash before the Phoenix

If they forfeit the rest of the games on the slate, are they all counted as 2-0 losses or something? That might be the better way to go at this point...

Exactly. Being "arguably the best player on the ice" for BU this year is like being the tallest midget.
