Tonight there may not be as many Beaver Fans as there will be tomorrow night. The Bemidji High Football Team is hosting Grand Rapids in the Section Football Finals. With the BSU football team in St. Cloud tomorrow, I think you will see more due to some "double header" fans.

you are right the whole team has been like that this year, but those two were like that last year as well.

To answer your previous question, most expect Dunn will start in goal Saturday. The rotation looks like it will continue into the foreseeable future.

Good luck against Bucky this weekend. That should be a good match up.

It is opening Deer hunting this weekend and in year's past when the team has drawn well this weekend has not. It could be half empty unless a lot of BSU fans show up.

Covering Eagan @ Cretin-Derham Hall playoff football so can't be in attendance tonight (sadly) but looking forward to welcoming BSU to the WCHA Husky style tomorrow night.

One thing I noticed last year about BSU's attendance - the deer opener was by far the worst. BSU had a season average of 2,181, but only drew 1,915 Fri. and 1,590 Sat. that weekend (vs. RMU - the only two games all year under 2,000 - also, the second time the Colonials came, attendance was 2,108 and 2,243).

BSU put some fear in the Huskies in the 3rd. I thought we were going to witness another 3rd period blown lead. Matt Read is a great player. Once you guys get your special teams locked down things should come around. Hopefully that comes next weekend.

BSU's top line is very good. The bottom line is the huskies have a lot more talent right now than BSU has and unless the huskies play another stinker they should sweep. I think on the NHL size ice BSU has a lot better shot of winning when it is a lot easier to clamp down on the Huskies. The games at BSU will be a lot differnet than the one's at the NHC.

To be fair, Bemidji opened up the season against probably the top 3 teams in the WCHA, while UNO opened up with a couple of bottom dwellers. While I think UNO has shown more early in the season, I think by the end of the season they'll be very close to each other in the standings.

It is early so it is hard to say a this point. I will say UNO beat michigan at Michigan and that is a nice win.
