Sounds like DU hasn't played real well this period. About 2 and a half minutes remaining in the period.

Didier 4 min. for roughing, Illo 2 min for roughing and 5 min. major for face-washing.
Jay keeps saying 10 for Didier. DU live blog says 4:confused:

So I straight up don't understand what happened with the penalties. Can someone explain that one to me?

I think the Bemidji player was given 5 minutes for a face mask...

So does that mean that DU gets six men on the ice, but Didier can't be one of them for the misconduct?

Scratch one of the minors for Didier...

Essentially....When Denver's penalty is over...the player serving the minor penalty for Didier will come out of the box and the Pios will have the power play...

Didier will have to wait until a stoppage to come out of the box when his penalties are over.

I copied the penalties off the CHN live box score...

They bottled them a bit...

The penalties went up as...

Didier - 2:00 (Roughing)
Didier - 10:00 (Misconduct) - Not put on board

Illo - 5:00 (Face Masking)

BSU goalie has Bob and Doug McKenzie on the back of his helmet.

So there actually was 4 to Didider, not 2 and 10. Apparently the scoreboard posted it wrong, and Stickney and Rycroft went by the scoreboard.
