Brown & Yale @ RPI & Union (2/15, 2/16)

Re: Brown & Yale @ RPI & Union (2/15, 2/16)

to make it even more crazy.....how did Harvard just beat BU 7-4....and without Vesey?

I don't know, but by the transitive property, Brown is six goals better than BU and just finished third in the Beanpot.

. Acceptance is the next step from moving on from a traumatic event, nice to see you are healing, after seeing him, I understand your pain!

I actually shared a wonderful moment with Kevin Roy before the game tonight. I was watching his team warm up down by the glass, wearing a Brown shirt, and he happened to scan the crowd and my shirt caught his eye. I waved to him and pointed at the shirt and he grinned and laughed.

So we're cool now. Besides, he doesn't backcheck AT ALL. So I'm glad he's somewhere else. :)

With 2 top young goalies playing friday-we might just see one of those 8-7 shootouts:rolleyes:

Found an interesting stat on the ECAC website.

http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2012-13/standings

Brown is 5-3-1 in their last 10 games. Not sure too many teams could pull that off.

You would think that the last 10 games record is figured out automatically from the game scores. Conceivably the postponed game vs. Yale was still included as a no decision, but Yale doesn't have the same problem.

Brown if playing tough and gritty hockey right now and grabbing some pretty tight victories. Bruno could be a tough 'out' in the playoffs (or at least make someone's life miserable along the way)

RPI Gamenotes...Officials; Friday= Refs, Mike Baker & Andy O'Brien...Linesmen=David Brown & Ryan Knapp.........Saturday= Refs, Chris Ciamaga & KOTYRA ...Linesmen= Mike Emanatian (get ready for a gazzillion face-off throw-outs) & Justin Prusak http://www.rpiathletics.com/documents/2013/2/14/2012-13MHKYGameNotes_BrownYale.pdf?id=1461

Perhaps we can hope that Saturday there is some sort of outbreak of norovirus that strikes only animals in stripes.;)

Re: Brown & Yale @ RPI & Union (2/15, 2/16)

When I saw that in a WaP tweet I decided only to post it on the YouTube thread in the Cafe. I decided that the other RPI fans should be spared from that. :p

BTW, I couldn't pick you out in the crowd. ;)

Also I think this is the first RPI video to go viral. DrD, can you cure that?

My diagnosis-looks like Saint Vitus Dance or Sydenham's chorea. A latent response to an early infection with a Beta hemolytic streptococcus strain. early treatment with a 10 day course of Penicillin can prevent it but once it starts-you need a drug to stop the involuntary movements and i would suggest Haloperidol (Haldol). After that perhaps even systemic steroids.:p
