Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

The Brown announcers are the biggest clowns ever. They have the worst rep in the whole league. Are sitting right next to me being obnoxious as all hell. Dell made one call. In fairness, I didn't see it.

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

There have been no bad non-calls either. It's a clean game. Nine minutes in. Shots are 6-2 Yale. They have lost their early dominance but well they have a 2-goal lead. Need to fight complacency

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

Limbert shot from the right wing wall deflected by Kearney in front and completely changes direction. Clemente somehow got in front and made save look easy.

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

Vander Linden clears puck out of crease in front of wide open net before Arcobello can bang it home. Little and Limbert were playing with Laganiere last shift.

Brown has very rigid lines. Never change combos.

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

arcobello on a breakaway with D closely trailing has backhand attempt stopped by Clemente. Yale rolling top two lines hard for some reason

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

Miller is playing unbelievably. Skating around defenders. Two great looks in the last few minutes. 2:05 to go in the 1st. 2-0 Yale

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

Yale is skating well. Has got some help from the ref's. Call on Volpatti was marginal at best. The second goal was created by an interference contact taking Farnham out of the play. While Yale is outskating the Bears it appears the ref's have read the rankings and aren't keen on the upset. Lots of time left. Brown will have to pick it up in the second

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

Brown doing a great job finishing checks...some with elbows up high but that's hockey. Yale has turned it up a gear tonight and appears motivated.
Klump I agree with most of what you gave said except picking Brown now after game one. Yale last night looked quite similar to first playoff game with Brown last year. This team is too skilled to not win this series. Especially with Blase in net :)

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

And they couldn't have made more calls on Brown too? Be real. One power play to none for Yale in a period they dominated possession is very fair. I suppose it could have been 4 to 3 instead. I prefer it the way it's being called.

Re: Brown @ Yale - QF 3/12-14

Little beat 2 D on a breakaway but Clemente absolutely stoned him as Little tried to make a move around him. Then the net was wide open for Limbert but his back was to the net and he could not quite get turned around before D knocked puck away. But now Clemente gives up a soft one to Limbert on a wrist shot from the top of the right circle less than 2 minutes into the period. 3-0 Elis
