First impressions from the first two games - Brown has a very good first line and potential for two more solid lines with Hathaway, Hourihan, Harlow and the two freshmen, Middlleton and Pryzbek. But what's up with Jacobson and Lamacchia? How was their play? In talking to a friend of mine tonight who played for Yale years ago and was at both Brown games, he said Tyler Wood can be a great D-man.
Leaman took a Friar team that was absolute garbage and made it one of the finest in the nation, led by its sensational sophomore goaltender and great offensive players. Whittet took a Brown team that was somehow even worse than Providence and has built a tough, gritty team that is hard to play against and that has begun to impose its will on teams at times (dating back to the Quinnipiac semi-final game last year and based on the first two games of this season). The future looks bright for college hockey in the capital city- for the first time in a long time.

Not that we deserved to win at all, but you hate to lose to a team that plays bush league hockey. The goons emerged victorious tonight.
The pot calling the kettle black. Sore loser. How about the spear that happened to McPherson on his goal by one of your choir boys.
