It seems that what's important is for fans to pay the $10 ticket -- no discount for children. Hockey games appear to be nothing more than fundraising for the athletic department. Creating a good college atmosphere is of secondary (or no) importance.
Certainly no way to inspire faithful fans. I can understand quelling over-the-top behavior and limiting f-bombs, but heckling is part of the game.
I'm not trying to start anything, but anytime I've been to Meehan the place has been dead. If this mandate is coming from the top, it will only serve to make matters worse. If you can't be vocal at a hockey game what's the point in going?
