Broadmoor Championship: Denver vs. North Dakota - Saturday 3/19/11

Re: Broadmoor Championship: Denver vs. North Dakota - Saturday 3/19/11

Shots were 11 for each team in the 2nd and DU leads for the game 21-17

BC beat Merrimack 5-3

Miami leads WMU 2-1 after 2

Air Force is going to the dance with a 1-0 win over RIT, all 3 Colorado schools are dancing this year.

Given UND's near total domination of the period, the fact that the shots were even shows how misleading that stat can be.

Okay, which is more annoying: The "state of hockey" or "morning drive" spot? Both are pretty high on the barfometer.

And the "Hockey Mom of the Year" winner. What does she get? A year's worth of shaves?

Backwaxes from those child molesters at Excalibur Sports?

Being down 2-1 is familiar territory for DU, Bacher reporting Zucker is questionable to return tonight.

That's ominous. Coming out of this injury free is far more important than the Broadmoor.

Zucker back out there, that kid is tough as nails.

Knight takes down Jay Z and DU will have a PP

Hopefully questionable to return tonight means the injury isn't too serious and he'll be good to go in the NCAAs.

Full strength

UND 2 DU 1

Re: Broadmoor Championship: Denver vs. North Dakota - Saturday 3/19/11

DU's strategy for the game so far: If a UND stick touches you, hit the ice. I really thought the DU program had more class than that. Sad to see that crap in a game like this. I'll allow one, but it really gets old to see dive after dive.

He's back. And that PP just ended with him firing off a wicked one timer. Who knows with an elbow. But like DU 78 says, this is one tough kid. That's the most under appreciated aspect of his game.

Re: Broadmoor Championship: Denver vs. North Dakota - Saturday 3/19/11

Dusty going to sin bin for DU, UND PP

Anyone know the song playing on FSN North about the Minnesota Wild every goal/win/whatever counts. I would be very happy to know it. Go Sioux.
