Re: Bring Out Your Dead (Part Whatever v2.0)

I just imagined thwarting all the grave robbers by sealing it shut. I guess I am mundane.

Farley Granger-teen heart throb from back in the 50's. He was 85. Not sure how many on the board go back that far but I have seen some of his movies.

He was in two Hitchcock films. Rope and Strangers on a Train. Strangers on a Train is required viewing in my book.

Absolutely-I of course feel most of Hitchcock's movies should be seen at least once.

This is unreal. I hope she doesn't die until after the baseball season, since one of my teams is The Zombie Zsa Zsas.

Wait, wouldn't that make it better if she died?

"Spitting up blood" made me think immediately of Elizabeth Báthory. It would explain a lot.

Re: Bring Out Your Dead (Part Whatever v2.0)

Wow, totally missed that.

Outstanding character. IIRC (I may be thinking of the very similar Quatermass foil) he started out as a sort of Colonel Blimp but gradually softened over the years to become the character we all got used to.

I always liked the Brigadier. He was one of the great foils in sci fi history - I love the episode where Jon Pertwee calls him a "military idiot" and then has to come back a minute later and beg him for help!
