BC and Michigan have to be huge favorites to reach the title game since the WCHA is weak this year.Michigan as a heavy favorite? I don't know about that.
If BC is fortunate enough to get past Air Force, they might have to go through UMD and then UND just to get to the final. That's no easy task even if the WCHA isn't as strong as in years past.

It's an easier task than it would have been last season (when UND actually had depth). If BC is fortunate enough to get past Air Force, they might have to go through UMD and then UND just to get to the final. That's no easy task even if the WCHA isn't as strong as in years past.
If North Dakota, with that top line, couldn't get by BC in 2008, they aren't going to get by BC with this current team (with no disrespect meant to the current ND team, but come on - ND can't seem to beat BC ever).
Honestly, I think the only team that you can pencil in to the Frozen Four right now is BC. It's not that none of the other teams CAN beat them, because all three can, I justr don't think they will. If Zucker, Bennett, and Didier all play for DU, I see no reason why they can't take Michigan, and frankly I feel like Michigan has shown us that they are no powerhouse. The Bridgeport regional seems wide open to me; I think Miami takes it, but I'll admit that's largely because I like them. And the west should be a dogfight. I think Minnesota takes it, myself.
I think you are thinking of '07 when they had the DOT line (Duncan, Oshie, Toews). I don't think there is a single player on either of the two teams that has played the other in NCAA play (2008 was the last meeting between the two). That being said, BC has depth and talent all throughout while North Dakota has 6 scholarship forwards. It really isn't a fair matchup.
Pardon the interruption, but Merrimack got the shaft. Michigan State took the last slot, and they aren't anywhere near Merrimack, who was ranked as high as first during the season. The last ranking has Merrimack 15 and Sparty 16. Also, why are both Ferris & Michigan in the same bracket as are Michigan State & Miami with no CCHA team in BC's bracket. Very poor effort in a fair
draw. Minny-D vs. Maine will be a great matchup for a first round game as will Minny - BU!!!
I like Bridgeport because I think that's a region where the hot team comes out alive. May well be Lowell.I REALLY like our chances coming out of Bridgeport.

OK, I’ll answer with something other than a sigh.J.D. said:Sigh.
You've mastered the art of sandbagging well, my friend.
