So, if they get next year's #1 in addition to this years, the Celtics might be competitive with the Cavs by 2021-22

Well, they're not going to be competitive this year. Isaiah Thomas is out for the rest of the postseason. So that's the end of the Celtics this year.

Like IT being out matters. Maybe the rest of Celtics will actually make a shot now instead of laying bricks. Softest team ever to be a 1 seed

I wonder what LeBron could have done in the Magic, Bird, Jordan, Detroit bad boys era. Lambier or Mahorn giving him a forearm shiver would have been something to see.

LeBron would be leaving the paint with a broken jaw. Also, LeBron would be called for travelling in those days.

Also, can we stop comparing Jordan to LeBron? In Jordan's era, the first round was a best of 5 and the league let you play defense.

Also, it was brought up that Jordan was eliminated in the first round three times, while LeBron has no first round eliminations.

Weren't those losses before Pippen, Rodman, and Phil Jackson?

Jordan played an entire game with the flu. LeBron got a small cramp and had to be carried off the court.

The Jordan rules. No such rules for LeBron.
