Bouncyball 2014/15

Re: Bouncyball 2014/15

The NBA is in a very peculiar position where the off season is more interesting than the regular season and rounds 1-4 of the playoffs. At least the moves this summer should make the conference finals worth watching again.

Celtics trade Avery Bradley and a second round pick to the Pistons for Marcus Morris, mostly to make cap room for Hayward.

$40 million per season is just ludicrous I don't care if it's what the market dictates.

Maybe the Cs will overtake the Cavs in the East this year, especially if the Cavs are just LeBron and 11 unknown people.

Harden is NOT that good. That's absolutely absurd. What are the rockets thinking?

(And I've always liked Harden)

I mean, he's good and all, but he's like 20M good, not ****ing 50+M good. Say goodbye to the Rockets as a going concern. Also, apparently John Wall has a 40+M offer that he hasn't signed yet, and if he says no he's a complete goddam moron.

NBA players are worth whatever idiot owners and GMs give them. I can't imagine ticket prices that will be needed to pay those salaries.

All the money comes from tv deals nowadays, ticket revenue is just a bonus.
