What's the record for the worst record in NBA history? Because now I want the Sixers to break it.

The 2011-12 Charlotte Bobcats went 7-59 in a shortened season.

For a full 82 game season, the worst record is 9-72, held by...the 1972-73 Sixers.

Bobcats went 7-59 in the lockout shortened 2012 season. The 1973 Sixers have the worst 82-game record at 9-73.

They play the Pistons on the 6th. That ought to be.....interesting.

Pistons will lose that one. They helped Philly snap their tied for all-time worst streak last year, no reason they won't do it again.

Big Ten just clinched the ACC-Big Ten Challenge with an Iowa win at UNC. Makes five years unbeaten at 3-0-2 after the ACC won the first 10.

And the Sixers started the game by winning the tip...and spending 16 seconds going toward the wrong basket.

Honestly, that was a gutty road win. I didn't expect that from this team, so that was good to see. Stealing a game from Roy Williams doesn't happen often, so this is a real nice win.

Michigan upset by New Jersey Institute of Technology at home. NJIT is the only division 1 Independent in basketball and arguably the worst program in D1... BUT today they were able to shoot 64% from three point range, which is an equalizer for the small teams against the big boys.

They used to play in the Great West with UND. Considering that we regularly beat them, that should tell you everything you need to know about how good they are.

I have. But only because they rattled off 50 or 60 losses in a row a few years back.
