Historic weekend.

Either Jerry York will break Ron Mason's record for coaching wins in a career (924) or Jack Parker will break Jack Parker's record for coaching wins with one team (880).

York needs one to tie and two to break the record...

Should BC not sweep BU, the record most likely won't be broken at home which is unfortunate.

lookit.... if say 40 games ago, you guys were told, "you know what? you guys are playing sooooo good i'll bet you play .725 hockey over your next 40 games" you would gladly take 29-11-0 :D :D

i've been waiting for this and it's inevitable of course......................first time is a while that both have been this good in the same year, 2006-2007 maybe? . BU's 4 losses, @UNH, BC, @UND, UNH

BU's diving team has a hockey problem.

If all goes according to schedule, Jack Parker will say something very dumb by EOD tomorrow and by the time the games are all played, it will look even dumber on Saturday night.

Yeah 2006-2007 sounds right. It couldn't have been last year right? I mean it's not like both teams were ranked #1 last year.

Depends on which BU team we're talking about from last season. The one with the criminals or the one after the criminals got thrown in jail.

Conversation overheard at Maryanne's over the din of BC students getting worked over in the parking lot by Gambino family enforcers for non repayment of past due debts...

Student #1: Man, all our teams suck. Our football team is a joke. Our only decent crowd was full of Notre Dame fans. Our hoops team just lost to freakin' Bryant. It blows to go to Boston College.

Student #2: Our hockey team is pretty good.

Student #1: Hockey. Who cares?

Student #2: Well, they're #1 in the nation. Have won 3 out of the last 5 national championships and are the defending champs. Plus our coach is about to become the winningest all time.

Student #1: Really....oh, you said HOCKEY. I thought you said hookey. Yeah, I uh, love hockey. What's our team's name again?

Student #2: Umm...the Eagles.

Student #1: Yeah! Go Eagles. Woo hoo Coach Bicknell getting the all time wins record!

I never realized that site sold regular season college hockey tickets. Some people are trying to get $60-$88?!

i used it for a BC-BU game at Conte years ago before i got my season tickets. $60-$80? i bet they'll sell some at that price......
