Defense and Goaltending will be goodSolid schedule. One bitch: BC 2 days before playing them in the first round of the Beanpot?Talk about killing tension.
I know we knew about it already, but I'll say it again, I love having a team bonding trip to a far away land to start the season.
Other highlights from my perspective:
104 days!
- 5-0 start on paper (I know, I know, but come on. Alaska? Brown? UVM?)
- Then a test early (UConn)
- Two @ MSU (I wish I could go)
- A Tuesday night game against Harvard (I wish it was at Wally B.
)
- The Q (Revenge game!)
- Denver is great, I just wish it wasn't Thanksgiving weekend
- An upstate NY trip to play an always tough Cornell team and Colgate
- Late season games against BC
Caleb Malhotra: "Aleksander Barkov and Jack Eichel. Elite playmakers who have poise offensively and play in all areas."
Niklas Aaram Olsen: "Timo Meier. I think we play similar. But I want to be more like Brandon Hagel to add that grit and be around the crease."
Xavier Villeneuve: 'Lane Hutson. What he’s doing right now is unreal, and his defensive game has an edge to it. If I can get to that, I’ll be good."
I could see Ritchie breaking 25. The talent is there and there was some improvement in the second half of the season. With the way last season went overall, it wouldn’t have been a shock if he left and I take it as a positive sign that he chose to stay.Defense and Goaltending will be good
Season comes down to whether Malhotra and Lawrence can give 40-45 points each because nobody else is cracking 25 points
Talented centers can't do it alone.. If those two are in the 40s, it'll be with strong step-ups from Harvey, Ritchie, Murtagh, Merrill and a healthy Fondrk.Defense and Goaltending will be good

im fairly confident in Barone and somewhat confident in Wismer as someone with slightly more knowledge on the twoagree about Ritchie- key to season is two unknown to us transfer defensmen
Don't have top end defenders left
