Throwing out a name that hasn't been mentioned much before... Any chance Brian Durocher would be a candidate? In some ways it seems doubtful to me he would leave "his" team.. but giving it a go on the mens side of things might be something in the back of his mind somewhere. He is not as young as some of the other names thrown out there but still must be 10 years younger than JP and has certainly been successful with the womens program.

I do like the idea of Sabo as assistant coach. Who better than a player who couldn't shoot, skate, pass, hit, play defense or refrain from taking stupid penalties to mentor the guys on this team!

I watched a little of Penn State-Wisconsin last night on BTN. The announcers were talking about the Lions new arena, they stacked the stands behind the visiting goal are as steep as code would allow. Nice.

I like my center ice seats. I wish the team didn't suck.
