Very ugly game, in terms of penalties, for O'Reagan and Privitera. He seems to be a bit of a loose cannon at times. What the hell was that kick for, after the take down?
You think????? At the risk of demolishing the horse that's already dead, if there are no consequences for this ridiculous display of lack of discipline night after night after night after night, what does that say about the HEAD COACH??? I don't get it. It's getting embarrassing now. BU seems to take personal offense to anyone touching them. I've have never seen so much out of control hitting after the whistle in my life. How long is this going to go on before someone gets control over this team? Every Denver goal (at least until it got out of hand) was the direct result of a penalty. Ridiculous...
How was it that Noonan didn't get whistled for those repeated cross checks to the Denver player, when MacGregor picked up his game misconduct? Very ugly game, in terms of penalties, for O'Regan and Privitera. He seems to be a bit of a loose cannon at times. What the hell was that kick for, after the take down?
Just to clarify, that Olkinoura isn't a third stringer. He may have been a third stringer early in his career at DU, but not for a while. This year it has been mostly a rotation between him and Brittain, and Olkinoura is the clear #1 right now. He put on a great performance last night. He got lucky once or twice, but he made some fantastic saves, too.Putting aside the lack of discipline for a moment, BU did generate plenty of quality scoring opportunities. The Denver goaltender was by far the best player on the ice last night. A third stringer? Wow.
