Albie got drunk on some early success with Abel- the Merrimack game was a real eye opener. This one even more so. I’m not happy right now. If we don’t come back in this game it’s on Albie for not having a feel for what was building.

7 month countdown until new stud goalie steps on campus. I miss Jake O..

Embarrassing for that ref - they were letting everything go. Only haul downs on clear breakaway should be called. I think he fell on his own anyway. It was a great defensive play by Harper. Final in OT - Ref 5, BU 4. I’m sick

That's what I saw. Yes, the forward did stick out his arm to hold him up but in the end Shea really did go down on his own.

It took a few games for teams to figure out the “book” on Abel. You started to see it against Merrimack and again tonight. He’s vulnerable up high and that’s where everyone is shooting and beating him.

Exactly he’s a small goalie who plays deep and drops pretty early it’s rather clear what the book is on him

Re: Boston University 2019-2020

From the Official BU athletics write-up about the game. I have never seen anything like this on the official BU game summary! Usually the write-ups are fairly boring & basic.

"A great game was decided by a penalty call in the second overtime period as Boston University fell to No. 12 Northeastern, 5-4, in the 68th Beanpot championship game on Monday evening at TD Garden.

For the second time in as many weeks, the Terriers officially played to a draw and were able to force overtime thanks to freshman Trevor Zegras' second goal of the game with just 1.2 seconds remaining in regulation.

After a scoreless five-minute overtime session, Northeastern's Ryan Shea grabbed the stick of BU senior Patrick Harper and fell to the ground, eliciting a tripping call on Harper in the 79th minute of play. Jordan Harris provided the winner at the 79:33 mark on an effort from the center point."
