Holy crap, I remember Jason Lawrence with 15 sec left to win the UNH game, but I just looked back at the records and there were **5** GWG or GTG in the last 20 seconds of regulation. 5 in 15 total tournament games! What a fun spring to be a college hockey fan.

I caught the tail end of an interview of Bernie Cornett today by Matthew Barnaby and whoever his partner is on NHL Network radio on XM. Some tidbits:
- They were in the middle of discussing Chad Krys and evidently commenting on his slide in the draft rankings, as they were addressing how when he was a younger star, he didn't really have to play much actual defense since nobody could get the puck from him. They commented on Mark Krys' time at BU. Barnaby saw a lot of Chad Krys in his youth hockey days.
- Barnaby asked if Patrick Harper was going to enroll in 2016 or play a year in the USHL, and Bernie replied that he felt Harper would be coming this year. They jokingly referenced the "Fabulous 6" freshman class. I think they had discussed all the other recruits before I tuned in.
- When Barnaby asked Bernie to rank the top three impact players at BU (loosely defined), Bernie went with 1) Drury (the whole package, on and off the ice), 2) Eichel and 3) Amonte (for turning the program around)
- Top 3 "Moments" for Bernie 3) knocking off MSU in the 1990 best of three ("Amonte showed Kip Miller a thing or two", "Mike Sullivan was the captain - what ever happened to him :-)"); 2) the stunner over Michigan in 1997, and 1) the 2009 final "Nick Bonino, whatever happened to him")
- Game 7 hopes: rooting for Shattenkirk ("he is the only player whose dad has joined me at a Cheap Trick concert") and Wilson, Fenton, and Kealty (I guess three x-players versus one in Nieto tips the scales)

What I remember most is being shocked when he scored our first goal in the '91 Beanpot final. :D

I matriculated the fall of 1984. #BeforeMyTime I thought he was referencing someone who was PLAYING for the Preds right now. That would be something #GordieHowieToShame

Rooting for the Preds tonight. It would be cool to have 3 of the 2009 guys in the NHL Final 4.

mookie KNEW who he meant. Paul Fenton is a well known name around bu hockey circles.

his kid played for umass. mookie played with him in the umass foh summer golf tournament.
