Players would prolly also have zero issues of all consession stands were open regardless of student vacation patterns and if beer was a flat $4!

So maybe BK can take care of that too :D

Congratulations to Coach Quinn on his 50th win as BU's head coach!

Neither coach expressed any concerns about the travel or quick turn around, although Red did lament we don't have Star Trek technology which would allow the teams to beam down to Boston, or travel on I-95 at warp speed. I was waiting for him to mix up Star Wars and Star Trek, but he navigated through his metaphors nicely.

Nice win for the boys last night. They were flying, putting on a relentless forecheck. That is how BU Hockey should always look.....

- Maguire made some ridiculous saves. He really is playing well.
- Grzelcyk really makes such a difference with his skating and puck moving.
- The 4th line played phenomenal (Kelley, Phelps, Moran) - good to see Moran get one, and Kelley had a couple good opportunities as well

Let's hope they don't get complacent tonight.

BU was far better than Quinnipiac. Not even close.

OH! Sorry for the double post, but.....I'm in Denver for work and I'm going to the Denver-UM-Duluth game tonight and I just bought my ticket. $37 plus a $3 window fee. I literally walked up to the ticket window and they charged me $3 to do that. So, $40. So knock it off all you whiners about how expensive it is to see a game at Agganis. I transferred my tickets to tonight's game and saw that the tickets were priced at $20.

Remember when umo and UND had those streamlined Nike uniforms a couple years ago?

Phil Knoght should bring in those business development yo yos and ask who decided umo would be a good idea to dress with the Nike name.

Bet they get fired.

4 point weekend and nothin' on here? Are Terrier fans taking this team for granted!? Is Maine really that irrelevant?

BU Hockey: Whatevs

My take:
- always hard to know how much the level of the competition plays into it, but BU certainly looked "back to form". I didn't see Saturday's game, but I loved the pace of Friday's game
- Also great to see some balanced scoring, and in general, more scoring from the forwards.
- Carpenter has shown he belongs. For a kid who missed getting drafted twice, it's great to see him contribute. He is like Matt Lane (full of energy), but seemingly with more offensive upside as a freshman.
- Also good to see Oskar getting a couple points. He looks like he knows how to use his size.
- Oh, and Maguire is playing phenomenal hockey. Just in time for that tournament that nobody cares about...

Yes, they're awful. Maybe three or four legitimately skilled players on the entire roster. Nonetheless good to take care of business in two games we absolutely should have won.

Harrowing drive to get there, Chris Drury bobble head, chuck a puck, six goals, and chicken. A good night. But I miss Maine. It's much more fun when they are good.
