Re: Boston University 2010-11 Part III - Is That So Much To Ask?

jcarter = winkelvoss twins

I like it. Especially since one was a headless (which would mean brainless too, I guess) body with a fake head CGI'd on. Flesh it out more, have it on my desk Monday morning.

Re: Boston University 2010-11 Part III - Is That So Much To Ask?

USCHO because jcarter said limey was a user because he has no "uscho friends" haha

?? Huh ?? You should refrain from calling people stupid hicks until you can learn to write a coherent sentence.

Re: Boston University 2010-11 Part III - Is That So Much To Ask?

All this "friend talk" is confusing me. Is this Facebook or USCHO?

lol

First its mpereira. If you re going to insult me atleast spell my username right you stupid stupid hick. Second, you seem like a match made in heaven with Slasher7 since you quote him in your signature...haven't heard from him the last couple days...I wonder why? Oh wait he is banned for being an idiot and you are on your way there my friend. Why don't you worry about your own social status and not everyone else's? But thanks I am going to friend Limey now thanks for the suggestion.

First, you aren't worth taking the time to learn to spell your name correctly.

Second if you bothered to actually read, you would see that my signature is the insane comment he made. Not exactly making friends with him by pointing out his huge overstatement.

Glad I could suggest SOMETHING to you. Here's another suggestion, send me your address, I will send you a few bucks so you can go buy a life.

Anyways hockey related, from a BU standpoint do you guys prefer Maine or NU in the QF's. I would have to think Maine. And does that mean that the team ahem throws one to get ensure that match up? I am sure there has never been anything official, but can anyone think of an instance where a team may have not played flat out to get a particular seed?

Well, according to the more Chicken Little-esque members of the BU fanbase commenting on the BHB lately(or maybe it was just Andy Glass commenting over and over) they've been throwing games ever since Parker got sick of #14 and threw his backside off the team. *rolls eyes*

But in all seriousness as much as I'd want Maine for the TUC games, I can't see them trying to lose one, especially if it came down to the Senior Night game on Saturday. (Since losing Friday isn't an option as you need momentum to go into the last game/next weekend if we see them again)

Re: Boston University 2010-11 Part III - Is That So Much To Ask?

In this situation, where the permutations are legion, I don't think a team could afford to get cute. Resting players might be an option if the team was comfortably in, which would imply different necessities, since they are in/on/between/near the bubble they need to lace 'em up and play. If they think the challenge is who they play in the first round of the HE then they have already lost.

The one place I could see them having judgment, and it appears they are acting wisely, is in resting Warsofsky. Ten years ago he would be playing this weekend. It is a positive sign that he is being held out at least one game, and I won't be surprised if it is both. I doubt the 24 hour improvement would be pronounced enough to make the school, player and family comfortable with his return.

Yeah, you don't mess with concussions. Especially since in College sports, you want the kid to still lead a productive, successful life, and with the more recent studies on concussions, that's becoming more difficult.

And the most notable research is being done at....Boston University.

hahah oh jcarhfkjsafhter you are very entertaining I will give you that. Sorry I think I misspelled your name oops. Second, why would you want to be associated with him at all? Third, I would love to hang out sometime when you make the big trip into civilization(read: anywhere but Vermont) since I am your #1 after all haha.

But yes back to hockey, there is no way they blow a game this weekend because it still hurts your resume. They want to sweep NU if possible trust me but obviously Maine gives you the better opportunity to help your TUC record even though if you play NU you are more likely to win and move onto the Garden where you would be palying TUCs in the semis and the final.

4.) I don't think so chief, the way ME and NU are playing you are much more likely to move on playing ME then NU.

It depends what Maine team shows up... But yes I understand your point. I would rather not play NU for five straight games either. and ok sounds good to me best buddy haha

Can this be the end of this crap already? Seriously, bantering with him is endless, and it just clutters the thread with uselessness.

And another thing, I hate to defend them, but your sig reference to BC is 100% incorrect, and not really something to joke about. The driver of the vehicle in the BC-T incident was proven to have been NOT drinking at all. In fact, IIRC, she was allergic to alcohol or something like that. Sure the players apparently were, but they weren't behind the wheel, big difference. This has been rehashed over and over, the MBTA blew the incident way out of proportion with faulty reporting and ended up taking much of the blame in the end. Make fun of them for running away and being stupid, but claiming they drank and drive is totally incorrect.

I'm going on what was stated in the articles. She may have had this condition: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/alcohol-intolerance/DS01172 Point is, the driver wasn't drinking. Let us clutter our own threads with uselessness, we don't need you for it.

Yeah my sig reference is just to tick people off and drink and ride in the back seat doesn't have the same jingle but I agree 100% with everything you said. I know they weren't drinking and that the girl is allergic or has some condition where she can't drink and it all fell on the MBTA. Lets just get back to hockey talk for once haha

Sorry, have to agree on this one. No use making up facts. There are plenty of other things to poke fun at them for. Weren't you the one who dug up those old Cam Atkinson beat up kids on a bike after they rode in front of your dad's car articles?
