apparently some of the USCHO voters didn't watch the BC games this past weekend.

I get it---it was really weird going to Ridder on a Thursday night in September.

She played nowhere close to 100 games for Minnesota. Try 56, and 31 of those were when she was a freshman fourth line forward. Frost notoriously doesn't give the fourth line much ice time (though the fourth line is playing a lot this year). After that, she was hurt but dressed for a lot of those games.

Yes, she's good. She's a great penalty killer. If she can stay healthy, she'll be fine. That's a big "if," though.
 
Thus far we have learned that BC is less good than the good teams and more good than the bad teams. Progress!

UVM's results had looked pretty similar to ours until they dropped tonight's inexplicable L to Franklin Pierce (48-18 shot count notwithstanding).

Two at the Gutt is a tricky weekend. 4 point bare minimum needed here to not feel awful about it though.
 
Regrettable that Reggie's kid is no longer at BC as it seems like I'm the only BC person around anymore lol

Lame weekend in Burlington, but it's always been tough for us up in Vermont. I'll be at UConn Saturday which is my own personal house of horrors.
 
Finally got approved for this site so wanted to share and introduce myself....

I'm the radio broadcaster for BC Women's Hockey and cover the team and women's college hockey for Boston College Eagles on SI and College Hockey on SI
Our broadcasts air free over twitter and/or YouTube (WZBCsports) ; we'll have all home games and as many road games as we can get to (most of them once football ends).
I'm a grad student at BC and do this as basically an unpaid volunteer since the team was getting next to zero media coverage at the start of last season; I won't be on all the games (Freelancing pays the bills for me, mostly for other schools ESPN+) but have a great group of undergrads to fill in for me when I'm elsewhere.
 
Well BC has a better record than BU. It's kind of a surprise that BU is 1-7. Ava Thomas put up a lot of points for the Junior Flyers and it is translating to D1 with her recent conference award. That's a positive for BC.

Are you still on this kick that I must be the parent of a disgruntled player and that's the only reason I would ever dare criticize your your buddy coach Crowley ? That same Coach Crowley who has almost singlehandedly destroyed the once great BCWIH program in a matter of years with some of the laziest recruiting in the history of woman's college hockey ? You know damn well I never had a kid on this team but yet you keep throwing that back at me because you got nothing else. You really want to get me started on this again ? I'm sick of coming on this board and hearing your same nonsense all the time. You're the only moron on this board who seems to think she should keep her job and that's obviously because of your close personal friendship. This has nothing to do with anything other than she stinks at her job. Just brutal. Unacceptable at Boston College and I would say 98% of the people agree with me.

Keep telling everyone on here that things are going to get better. Keep listening to Crowley tell you that people are really happy and the only people complaining are disgruntled parents of ex players. Maybe they will avoid another second half collapse and actually play in the garden at the Beanpot. Hockey East looks really weak again so they have a chance for sure but your buddy will screw it up again.

Why is it a personal attack to say your kid played for BC? Vintage's kid played for BC. She certainly doesn't find that to be a personal attack.

Agreed. I had to chase him out of the woodwork, it was getting too quiet in here. Glad to see he took the rage bait hook line & sinker! Maybe we can liven things up again.

I HATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this sport. Absolutely hate it. I don't even know why I watch this when I seriously derive not one single ounce of enjoyment from it.

Best game we played all year. Zero points. Great.
