AFAIK she was a healthy scratch last night. She played in the exhibition game last weekend.

Just noticed the freshman from Sewickley on the roster. Neighbor of my brother who lives in Sewickley PA. I've heard traffic stopping street hockey games are common in the neighborhood. :)

You didn't do anything wrong. It was just a double entendre where it sounded like you were saying that YOU WERE Tony. That'd be a rough gig. ;)

Out east and had a chance to watch the SLU vs BC game last night at BC.

BC has a number of weapons. Thought SLU hung with them through 2 periods. They led 1-0 and then gave up two shorthanded goals back to back to trail 2-1 which changed the game. BC 9 and 22 are real threats no one can let get loose as your video above shows. I think 22 now has 5 goals in 2 games WOW!

Lots of depth, scoring up front and good goaltending - will be interesting to see their ultimate success at the end of the year.

Today was closer. I think SLU raised their game rather than BC playing significantly worse, although people seemed a bit slower on both sides until the pace picked up about seven minutes from the end. Anastos is quickly becoming a go-to player; Lemieux seemed to score her first NCAA goal, but it was disallowed. Coach kept the bench shorter: I was only there for the third period, but didn't see as much of Meghan Grieves or Danielle Doherty as last game, and Lemieux was mixed in with some of the higher lines. There was visible frustration from the bench at Haley McLean's penalty at the start of the third period, which maybe contributed to them not taking any more for the rest of the game.

Good performance by the UNH defense, but no noticeable hustle from us. At least the third period was a bit better. Homework: everything.

TTT was it BC playing awful or UNH taking them out of their game? We played well, reacted well to ur aggressive man down play and took advantage...you could tell BC was out of synch when everyone started to carry the puck instead of moving it quick...just one example...long way to go but a nice, real nice win for the Wildcats!
