Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Colin White is out tonight. Get ready for a whole lot of three lines! Expecting a very difficult game.

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

I assume most of you are at the game, but can anyone explain your streaming? paid the 7$ and can only get the radio feed to actually play.

Working now.

Sent a ticket to sidearm sports (the product?). They did they were having issues with a contractors service and thanked me for the feedback... No time table. Stuck it out, was a good stream once it came on

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

10th shortie of the year, most since the '11-'12 team and 1 less than the total over the previous 3 years. The '12-'13 team had 1, followed by 7 then 3 last year. The years with probably three of the slowest BC teams in the York era capped off with last year's disaster

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Taking penalties is not always a bad thing, sometimes a necessity, but the amount of STUPID penalties this team takes is really off the charts.
That being said... it appears these guys actually enjoy being on the penalty kill. They're pretty darn good at it. There's something to be said about demoralizing an opponent by eating their lunch when they have more guys on the ice than you. Still, it's a bit nerve racking.

But thank you Norm Bazin for pulling your goalie with over 3:00 to go, down by only 1 goal, giving BC the opportunity to take pot shots at your empty net with no penalty if they miss. That certainly lit a little more fire under the BC PK'ers. And it only took one pot shot for insurance. :)

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Hopefully less penalties tonight or else you're asking for trouble ((

Just need a point to win this HE regular season outright

I always enjoy going to the Tsongas to watch a game

But I don't like this idea of turning it off and on thing. Hopefully they play 60 minutes of hockey tonight

North Dakota did that twice in Albany and scored twice. Maine had a 6x3 for 90 seconds and vouldn't score against Denver. I'm

That was agonizing...but the wind was taken out of their sails when they had that goal in the 1st period disallowed. They were never the same after that. And the thing is, I think his skate was about 1 inch inside the crease. Ironically, they have now changed that rule so that you also have to have an "impact" on the play and you can't disallow the goal just because the guy's skate happens to be touching the line.

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Unless you're in a part of the country where no bars carry nesn :(

you need to find a bar with a good sat dish and strike up a relationship... check out any bars that promote themselves as a boston sports refuge.

edit: normally I'll tip for a tv... probably too much... ten bucks... it may take you awhile to find a good bar to support your habit

edit #2: in my happy little world I'd set up a loose affiliation of bars which are known to carry just about everything legal (expansive satellite packages) and say "hell yes, we have your game!"
