His game is floating out on the perimeter between the circles and blue line and he won't go into the dirty areas. What changes in BC's offensive style do you think would make him a better player, or make BC a better team?

This is a tough league to play in when you have a max. speed of 5 mph.

Agree that the focus should only be one game at a time but even with a loss they may avoid UMass as UNH would have to beat Northeastern at Matthews to pass BC. Northeastern has a lot on the line so I like their chances in that game.

Best part of this season will be the refund for the playoff tickets...there is a refund, right???

Wouldn’t a tic-tac-toe pass require 3 straight completed passes? I don’t think I saw that more than a half dozen times all year . 🤯

I’m still struggling with 7-5 after 7-2 start . This team sent a school record 7 players to the NFL combine . Then the extension when MJ had a golden opportunity to put his own guy in there and whiffed in my opinion. If Daz goes 9-4 I get it but not 7-5 with the way the season ended , losing the last three ending with a blow out at home by Syracuse

On the flip side... closing out the season with Clemson, at FSU and Syracuse is a tough close. Wins over Clemson and Cuse would have been upsets. Had the squeaker at FSU gone the other way the season likely would have felt a lot different.

UNH only needs a tie since the hold the tiebreaker over BC.

Understand ‘Cuse was good but BC was a 7 point favorite and were blown out AT HOME! . Florida St sucked, should not have been that close . Clemson, yes . Having said that, yes, not easiest but should have won 2.

You must remember Addazio is the coach, so in a way 7-5 is not surprising

How many times have you seen them over pass and not get a shot on net ?

With a very poor offensive year in BC standards their, 75 goals is way down there.

To make things worse, you limit your offense if you don't get enough shots on net during the game.
The shots you do get off must be quality shots or chances.

If you average 2 goals per game or less, you're not going to win games.

The goalie and team have to play perfect defense just about and kill off all penalties which is impossible to do.

The 0-0 BU-BC game is a microcosm of both teams' seasons. Also begs me to wonder if college hockey is the optimal development path for high-end NHL prospects who arrive at college at age 17-18 when it seems older, mature teams are the ones having more success in recent years. I think both BU and BC recognize that, and are starting to recruit a little differently for next season and beyond (i.e Hardman @ BC; Armstrong and Driscoll @ BU).

I'd never want BU, BC and other blue-blood programs to recruit exclusively older players, but a balance between recruiting high-end NHL prospects and solid older players might be the near term path towards returning to national success.
