Was waiting for this thing to lock down and for someone more clever than I to create a new thread.

Anyway gameday.

The kid says to look for Jeke in there tonight, which obviously eliminates the idea of him being RS.

Hope Richardson plays, & York breaks up the big line.

would be nice if matheson could elevate his game while santini and mccoshen are missing. that would be my one real concern for this weekend is how the shorthanded defense plays.

The Eagles are rolling Penn State, 8-1 in the 3rd.
Destry Straight with a hattie! STERLIPPO... did ya see that? :p

Re: Boston College Eagles 2013-2014 season thread -Speed returns to The Heights

OK... 8-2 final. The Eagles went out to Western PA and took care of business.
Sometimes a game like the Holy Cross debacle is a good thing. ;)

So... we've had some very good teams and some very good scoring teams over the last dozen or so years. But this team can really light the lamp, and they seem to do so in bunches. And I don't think they reached their peak yet. Yikes!

I won't miss many games in the second half... should be fun to watch! :)

and just think, as if the ice at outdoor games ian't bad enough...BC gets to play in the second game of frozen fenway doubleheader. yay!

Forecast calls for temps in the mid 20's from Tuesday - Saturday. That will help.

FWIW, I vowed to never attend an outdoor hockey game again after Frozen Fenway I, but I had a weak moment back in Septmeber when I renewed my season tix and will be in the house next Saturday.

Don't forget to bring your fur coat ) I'll be thinking of you in my warm house

Looking forward to the 2nd half and the Beanpot in February

How was the reffing in the Bowling Green and the Penn State games?
Well, I wasn't there, but they weren't HE refs, so I'm going to guess they were pretty good. ;)

Doesn't look like Hanifin is coming next year, intends to arrive in 2015 still according to Andrew Weiss, future considerations. Would be interesting to see where BChockeyblog got his sources.
