Boston College 2024-25 TV * JG * MG

I heard hagens returning to bc is about the same chance as eiserman and Cole Hutson returning to bu you fucking loser. Love that hagens got drafted by the bruins. And he will shine this year at bc. If bc gets Desnoyers for a year and carboneau we’re in the hunt for next year. Totally different landscape with the the Canadian juniors eligible for ncaa play.

I don’t believe Hagens is ready for the NHL, especially as a center. Bruins would be smart to leave him at BC and see how he develops.

Go Eagles! 🦅

To be honest, I agree. I’d love to see guys stay for three or four years like krieder or Mcbain. From a bc perspective that’s how you win championships. Gotta have senior players to set the tone for the talent guys. I’d love to see hagens stick it out for a couple of years to make the jump. Smith has done done well. Gauthier has too. Leonard is in a good position. More risky with perreault. All those guys took a chance jumping early. I hope like heck it works out.

All these guys seem to think they are ready for NHL. . Letourneau during his interview at last year’s NHL draft, said he might stay at BC for a year or two before he turned pro. Hagens has tons of skill, but plenty to work on. NHL is filled with guys who are much bigger, stronger and as fast as Hagens. I expect him to blossom to a higher level in his sophomore campaign. Really like Stiga’s game, and he will benefit as Hagen’s winger.
We could use Carbonneau or other CHL type player to fill out the top 6. Should be interesting season.

And as much as I hate to say it credit to bu who has produced some pretty impactful nhl players. I hate all of them.
I know what you mean. As a Bruins fan it’s going to be tough to have to cheer for a BC kid and someone that losers like you cheered for.

Sweeney should have picked Jake O’Brien

Hahaha. Fair play. Bu has had better success with the bruins than bc. Be great to see both schools contribute to the local nhl team like bc and bu do with the sj sharks!

I still hate all the bu guys.
And letourneau is a mystery. Boyle put up like 8 points or something like that as a freshmen and he stayed for three or four years with his production rising continuously year to year. By the time he left he was in the fourties’ for points production. We’ll see what happens with letourneau this year but confident in saying it’s only up side risk.

He confirmed in interview with ESPN that the plan is to return to BC.. He will sit down with Bruins/Sweeney where he will be told that he needs to develop his many skills, become stronger, improve on face-offs etc.
Though he left the window open the Bruins don’t usually accelerate players too soon sometimes to a fault. They would be better off solidifying their team this year before wasting a contract year with Hagens in a rebuilding transition year. It’s a win win for both with Hagens playing in the same city. I also think it’s a steal at #7 he will be closer to the #1 pick he was projected at pre BC than he showed last year. I think he has a huge year now that he’s the main show at BC

William Moore could be another solid center and also drafted by the Bruins. I expect Gasseau and Jelvik will help the lines with their experience. Plus you have Ryan Conmy who was a top forward for UNH. The big question mark for me is in goal. Can Korec handle a full load as a starter or is Luka Cloutier the starter ?

Let's see if I have this roster right as of now. Of course it is contingent on any late additions. Goal Out: Fowler In: Cloutier Defense Out: Powell, Hreschuk In: Kostadinski, Radivojevic Forwards Out: Leonard, Perreault, Posma, Schamberger, Joyce. In: Conmy, Moore, Resendes, Cornforth, Mutryn. That is assuming all others return for a full scholarship roster of 26.

There could be a major junior player coming in too. Penn State I believe got a potential #1 pick in the draft next year getting a major junior player

The thing a lot of people didn't know was that he was playing with an injured hand. If he's healthy and with the Bruins camp workout, we should see more progress and develpement we should see a more productive player as a Sophmore.

Actually after reviewing last year's roster, they had 16 Forwards so with losing 5 they only have room for 4 more if all return. Unless they go with 7 Defensemen instead of 8.

We all know that it’s the junior and senior classes that win the championships. I’m not a huge fan of taking first round talent because not only has BC not won anything with these players, Minnesota, Michigan and BU have not won a natty with them either.

Two most important forwards are Gasseau and Jevlik. This will be our best senior class in several years. Stiga and Hagens with Briard could be a great line. All you need is one good line in college hockey, but there is no reason BC shouldn’t have two very good scoring lines this coming season.

I also like the fact that this group will back check and with our D core, BC will be very difficult to score on.

Go Eagles!🦅
