Eagles won last night playing maybe a good 30:00.
I think they bring their A game tonight for JY1K.
Not so much of a nail biter. JMO. :)

thinking of a different game than the 1-1 tie. The 1-1 tie, muse stood on his head and absolutely stole a point. think that was the game where they killed a long 5 on 3 where 1 dman had no stick

edit: might've been the other game in '09 but remember it being far worse than 5-2 (granted we scored a late goal): http://hockeyeastonline.com/men/boxes09.php?mbc_bu_1.j17

2008-2009 Season, 5-2 BU win Recap. Box Score

I recall that game. Tommy Cross's frosh year. You could see the talent oozing out of that kid, but he was hampered by knee surgery that summer prior to arriving at BC. I remember him skating back to collect a cleared puck behind our goal line. Was having trouble getting down the ice. That just made it even tougher to accept what happened in that game (getting our arse kicked). I felt really bad for Cross. Although never getting back to 100%, he eventually healed up and went on to have a very nice career at BC. One can only imagine how good he could have been at 100%. Tommy Cross at 50% was better than most everyone else on the ice.

Just saw a clip of PS goal where you could see stands. May have looked empty to start game but stands are absolutely packed in shot that i saw.

So 4 more college hockey games on out here again tonight:

UNO vs North Dakota
UConn vs Maine
Merrimack vs Notre Dame
Northeastern vs UNH

at least i can buy the feed on goterriers.com . I didnt have that option last night i guess because of NESN

That UConn/Maine game is as compelling as they come. What's the problem? ;) :p

and that's the one that could have been BC-BU because its a Fox one i believe, no excuse. WBIN has UNH all the time, Sioux game is a draw so no issue and Notre Dame owns NBC so that couldnt be it. That arm of Fox should be burned at the stake

I'm disappointed in the tie, but I'll take it.
Eagles played to their potential for 8:00 of the last 10:00 of the game. Tied it and then went back to sleep.

That's a head scratcher at times but take the 3 points. The BU goal looked like a misdirected floater into the net when it hit someone in front.

savage could have easily cleared the puck the other way, maybe even skated it out but just aimlessly flipped it up right to O'Regan who just turned and gave it a whack and it was deflected in by Grzelcyk (he's pretty good)

A couple of Qs after watching the Friday game on TV (actually switching between BU@BC and UNH@NU): 1) How long has Conte had amplified organ music? 2) Why do you need organ music when your band is present and accounted for? 3) If there's some compelling need for organ music, shouldn't your organist at least be able to play the fight song correctly?
