Any updates on how Cross is coming along? Am hoping its 3 weeks and not 6...

I think York said in today's Globe that Cross might be back for the Maine series next weekend.

Always nice (and tough) to snag a win at UVM. Good sign that they were able to come back and win, too. Apparently Muse stood on his head late in the 3rd, was anyone there to confirm?

With the offense they have, they'd gladly take that.

lol, i know it.........great college hockey game last night in my first trip to the gutt. Muse? he was great again and as said above, tonight is huge. hard to believe that UVM hasn't won a game yet, they looked pretty darn good to me

You would think BU won 3 national championships in the last 10 years. Ironic as it is, the Eagles will fly under the radar until every paper and website has to acknowledge them.

Great W on the road in a tough barn....4 points in Burlington is a great weekend.

Yeah, early on the game looked a lot like UNH, except reversed. Pucks through the crease but there just wasn't anyone there to put it in and whatnot. Other than a UVM shot that hit the crossbar with a few minutes left, Muse handled everything they threw at him in the third. I can't say I was impressed with the d, there were about 4 or 5 failed clearing attempts, one of which led to UVM's second goal, but I can't complain with 42 shots on the offensive end. Hopefully that win gave us enough of a boost to pick up another win tonight.

Pretty amazing isn't it. I find it hilarious that the poor azzhats that run the site keep embarrassing themselves every few days. They put so many pictures on the front page this year that they ran out of pictures of BU players/Parker and had to put a pic of the fanboys up on Tuesday morning with BU #1 in the polls. TOO FUNNY!!!

Happy to get the W last night. Gutt has been a rough place for BC lately and obviously they got it without some key players in the lineup. Any time you get a W on Friday of a series it takes a lot of pressure off. Hope to see them play looser and put a hurting on UVM tonight. Great to see Arnold get on the scoresheet.

Notable stat: Muse's save % last night was basically perfectly in line with his season save % prior to the game so it stayed the same. He's having one heck of a season so far, he is in April form already.

Did anyone successfully tune into the on-line radio broadcast of the game last night? I tried but it failed completely. The Live Stats weren't available from the BC web site, either. I had to go to the UVM web site to keep track of the game as it progressed.

I had it for some of the first but got too frustrated and went to the UVM feed exclusively. Their announcers were priceless.

Relax big guy, I wouldn't call a 6-4 start sucking. It may not be "up to BC standards", but you actually played a pretty good Vermont team. They barely lost to a ridiculously talented Maine squad and just got nipped by you guys last night. It was a great series
