Re: Big Ten > NCHC

Oh, well too bad. I'm not a part of the twitter and tweet generation. I don't have a lot of practice cramming substance into 10 words.

I just believe in brevity. For those in the know, meaning not you, I have shunned most things, most famously being the smart phone.

Well honestly Brenthoven, I don't believe in brevity, it seems to me to lack substance. I'm a professional poker player, but I refuse to play online. I like to play at the table with real people, and I'm the guy that does all the talking at the table. When I was in college, I held discussion sessions in the laundry room regularly.

Sorry, but there is very little of substance that can be said in less than 10 words.

No one cares.

I played online back in the day. Made a few bucks, although nothing noteworthy overall.

And to my point:
Chili Palmer: I'm not gonna say any more than I have to, if that.

honestly Brenthoven, most people simply don't have much to say. No imagination, or little in the way of intelligence, or just simple minded.

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

The smart ones are not long-winded. They are articulate. ;)

Really? lol That's bullsh1t. I grew up reading BOOKS. The smart ones definitely did not limit what they had to say to 10 words or less.

I may say in 50 words what could be said in 35-40 words, but limiting posts to 10 words is ridiculous and begging for lack of substance.

Brevity just means TO ME, that you don't have anything worthy to say.

SCSU = 5 NCAA wins, UMn = 55 = 11 to 1.

Brevity is saying what needs to be said in a timely manner. So saying 50 words in 35-40 would be brevity. And this skill, is one you are lacking in.

I've never claimed otherwise. Still better than not being smart enough to know how to string more than 10 words together.
