Several officers can be heard telling Parscale to get on the ground a few moments before he is tackled to the ground.

Trump supporters responded with outrage to the footage, arguing that the officers’ actions were both unwarranted and unnecessary.

David Reaboi, a contributor at the right-wing outlet The Federalist, called the incident “completely absurd.”

August Takala, a reporter and editor with Mediaite and former Fox News employee, suggested that such aggressive behavior by law enforcement is a new phenomenon focused primarily on Trump supporters.

“Is that a new treatment for people with ‘mental health’ issues, or is it just for Trump supporters?” Takala said.

Another popular conservative commentator known as “The Red-Headed Libertarian” similarly described the encounter as “a little over the top.”

From the responses, I just got this idea.

Biden should start off the debate by mentioning five random words. Then, 20 minutes in, ask Donnie to repeat the five words back to him.

I told you guys Chuck would start posting that stuff. Project Veritasis trying so hard but it just isnt sticking. In fact nothing the Russian Trolls try is really working right now. Gateway Pundit was trying to get Trump's Nobel nomination trending last night and it failed miserably.

I am not watching the debate tonight unless I get real desperate for entertainment. 2016 proved they didn't matter. Trump will lie and not answer a question and I have zero idea what Biden will do. I already voted so no need to torture myself with Chris Wallace not factchecking.

We're going to pop a decent bottle of wine, settle in with some from-scratch ramen, and (literally) a big bowl of popcorn. :-D

ELection night we've adopted Alton Brown's tradition of Election Night Steak and pairing it with good, hard whiskey.

President Donald Trump says he deserves an "A+" for his handling of the pandemic. Corporate America says he deserves a failing grade.

Fifty-five percent of CEOs and other business leaders give Trump an "F" for his administration's response to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a poll conducted by the Yale School of Management. Another 12% say Trump deserves a "D." Just 6% of the attendees at Yale's Chief Executive Leadership Institute CEO Caucus award Trump an "A" for his handling of Covid-19.
Many CEOs want new leadership in the White House even though Trump is promising four more years of low taxes and light regulations -- policies that C-Suites often crave.A staggering 77% of business leaders polled by Yale say they plan to vote for Joe Biden over Trump in the November election. That's despite Biden's proposals to hike tax rates on both corporations and the high-income households.

"CEOs are not in the business of divisiveness. Their jobs are easier if they don't have a divided nation, workforce and customers," Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, senior associate dean for leadership studies at Yale, told CNN Business. Although CEOs are "afraid to speak out" publicly against Trump, Sonnenfeld said they will do so privately and collectively. The Yale summit featured dozens of leading executives, including the heads of General Motors, IBM, Caterpillar, Harley-Davidson, Johnson & Johnson and Goodyear.

Wall Street has sent nearly five times more cash to Biden than to Trump, according to OpenSecrets. Trump is losing the fundraising race among Wall Streeters by a greater magnitude than he did in 2016 and than Senator John McCain did in 2008. In 2012, GOP nominee Mitt Romney, a former private equity executive, tripled President Obama's fundraising haul from the industry.

I guess they are tired of all the winning...what does it say when Trump does everything to prop up Wall Street and they still don't like him?

Dr. Mrs. and I will be watching so we may as well live blog it. I cannot imagine how surreal it is going to be. I think I will do a poll for predictions.

Edit: LOL. Polls are broken now. Silly me for thinking otherwise.

Wait, did Chuck just use the Babylon Bee as an honest to God source? And is he also unaware ballot harvesting is legal in 26 states?

The Babylon Bee was to lighten the mood. I thought it was pretty obvious, since I've done that only dozens and dozens of times before. I'll post a warning label next time, OK skippy??

Also I'm pretty sure "ballot harvesting" at 300 ballots a pop, where you pressure old folks to give them to you blank and/or pay them for it, that's clearly illegal in all 50 states. But if you can show me the statute that allows for it, I'll wait for you to post it on here, and I'll stand corrected.

WARNING LABEL - satirical content to follow in link on ballot harvesting ...

Of course, it would take a total numb-nuts from Maine to claim that actual video with audio of people acting and speaking of their illegal actions to be anywhere close to "fraud". Unless "fraud" means, catching someone red-handed admitting to their illegal actions.

You guys can say whatever you want about O'Keefe, but the video and audio does not lie.

Anyway, here's a catchy tune for y'all to hum for tonight's debate ...

Went with the “can’t you see I was just joking?” defense...
