Best D-1 team in New England as of this week?

Re: Best D-1 team in New England as of this week?

Is HE down? Yea. It's incredible mediocre this year. BC probably is the only team that could win it all in Detroit. But it's still far better than the ECAC.

Hey now... as long as BU could get through the tournament without bumping into providence... ;)

I was wondering how long it would take the Hockey East guys to respond. :D

Yale has had a good season, but either New Hampshire or Boston College would roll them easily if they met in the NCAAs. Yale doesn't have the talent to hang with either of them. Merrimack may be playing the best and most consistent hockey these last few weeks, though.

Very true and point well taken. Speaking only of New England I do not feel Hockey East is as well respected on the national level as they once were.
Overall the ECAC is on the upswing on the national scene as a conference, I do not believe that upswing will be enough to have three teams make the final 16, unless Union or Cornell wins the conference final, then there is a chance.
