Bentley University Hockey 2015-2016: The Quest for 60-Minute Hockey

Re: Bentley University Hockey 2015-2016: The Quest for 60-Minute Hockey

JAR #59 of 59 in Div 1 hockey arenas thread.

Re: Bentley University Hockey 2015-2016: The Quest for 60-Minute Hockey

Thanks for the positivity, blazer. :-)

It's got its positives:
Pros:
Free Parking
In-close parking
Low to free entry fee
A fan can get right up on the glass to really see the action.
Watching the visiting teams bus driver napping in his rig as you walk up to the place.
Watching the goal judge streaming something on his phone while the game is going on.

Cons:
The snack bar....yikes!
Sight lines can be an issue
Fan comfort...bring your winter gear

Excellent summary! I could add several more Cons, but will refrain, and stay positive. :-)

Can't beat the price for being so close to the action though and I actually enjoy watching games there. If Bentley gets an on-campus rink, the prices are sure to go up but hopefully, the food quality would as well.

Prices no doubt will go up, but I heard not by all that much, maybe $10 for those outside Bentley? But, true, there will be no more standing rink side, which has been my favorite viewpoint.

Am watching West Kelowna Warriors in BCHL Playoffs. Your commit Jonathan Desbiens is a dynamic player with speed and a nose for the net. He and UNH commit Liam Blackburn can really move the puck on the power play.

Thanks for the heads up, Mike. Bentley has been recruiting heavily in BC. Hope that Bentley and UNH can meet again soon, although I was joking about the Cats playing at the JAR. :-)

Desbiens is a good player, heard he has decommitted.
