Congrats to Michael Bitzer on being named the WCHA Player of the Year and to Tom Serratore on being named WCHA Coach of the Year. I don't think anyone was really surprised by these awards.

Also, Michael Bitzer has advanced to the Hobey Baker Top 10 and he is also a semifinalist for the Mike Richter Award!

Senior Brendan Harms signed an ECHL contract with the Florida Everblades. He scored his first pro goal Saturday night.

Anyone with any insight into next year's Non-Conference Schedule? I know at Princeton is on the schedule, and I would assume UND and UMD are there. Wondering who the fourth series would be?

Beaver Senior Charlie O'Connor has signed with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL.

BSU's rumored non-conference schedule for 2017-18:

Two at Princeton
Two at home with Air Force (at Air Force the next year)
Home and Home with UMD
Home and Home with UND

Nice goal last night by BSU's Matt Read in Minneapolis. Matt picked up a bouncing puck near the net and slammed in it for the winning goal (his 10th of the year). Flyers 3, Wild 1. Matt had to enjoy that one.

Shhhh.......

It has been in the back of my mind and with Nell from BG signing this week, well, it moved more to the forefront of my mind.

I hope he doesn't, but I can blame him if he does. His stock has to be fairly high right now being a Hobey semifinalist and a Richter finalist.
