I will be parking on the couch and then will complain about the poor attendance.
 
Beanpot win or lose, nothing's coming close (for this NU fan) to last yrs atmosphere. The NU student sections were amazing, that first line was 'automatic' & then to have Gaudette have the night he had.. break the drought for us (not to mention win Hobey shortly thereafter); was pretty special all in all. Even the NCAA Michigan gm had a good atmosphere. I will be happy for them if they win tonight (longshot, my opinion), but atmosphere wise, anticipation wise, last yr was just something else.

Hoping for a good gm regardless of score. Pats win their 6th Super Bowl, NU..let's go for just our 6th pot of beans. Have fun!

As expected much better attendance tonight... although still appears to be a fair number of empty seats on tv.

Curious to see what announced attendance it, but for about 85% full sound accurate based on a visual scan?

Propelled into the net by something other than a stick? (Definitely looks like it got a pretty good kick by the skate, but it wasn't a kicking motion, and I'm not conversant with the rule as it is right now.)

That rule is accurate as you stated

I don't think they reviewed for offsides or a potential kick. There was no whistle so it was whether net was off. Based on Jaffe's explanation that the net can be moving I am not sure what angle they had showing net was off. Sure looked like a goal.

Ya as far as I know they didn't rule it offsides. Scared to go against the call on the ice. Probably would have sent mad man Madigan into orbit.

According to the BC radio guys the replay system was not working so the ref could not review the play. Not sure if that is accurate.
