BC Women's Hockey '16-'17: New Year, New Look

Re: BC Women's Hockey '16-'17: New Year, New Look

I mean, I don't know anything other than what's in that article, and I'm pretty ticked off about it, and I don't wanna talk about it. So. There you go.

Also I think I'm the only BC fan here these days.

I did not mean the BC fans (you) TTT, I meant the WCHA fans. ;)

I think it's the kind of story that just makes you feel bad that it had to come to this type of decision by the coaching staff. Certainly don't need to know the details and hope that whatever the issue is it gets resolved to the point of this player returning to the program next year.

Re: BC Women's Hockey '16-'17: New Year, New Look

Well said. My question is, who was ultimately responsible for deciding to go ahead and play the game?

I have no idea. In baseball it's the referees but I mean it's not like there's much of an established procedure for this sort of thing, right?

I'm sure there's someone who makes the call but yeah idk if it's the ref or the league (which league?) or Fenway Sports Group or what.

I wrote an article about how Frozen Fenway should not have been played:

I'll have my usual recap before the afternoon is over but that was the more important article that needed to be written

Can I agree with you 100% and still celebrate the spirit of the women's play?

The two coaches should have agreed on a mutual forfeit after the first period. That would have flushed out whoever was ultimately responsible.
