I certainly don't think anybody associated with BC thinks this will be easy. In fact, I view Wisconsin as a slight favorite due to their overall team experience, but then again, if BC plays like they did against Miami, I like their chances.

You and every one else under a certain age would much rather be a fan of BC than your own team . . . we are here almost every year, and no one else in recent history can say that.
I'd rather go play in oncoming traffic than be a fan of any Hockey East team, I mean, with the stick up your butt elitist attitudes and your horrible accents, how in god's name do you even get through the day with knowing you're so ***** awesome?

With all of those All-Americans and a Hobey Baker winner on Wisconsin, I don't think BC stands a chance. And their size surely negates BC's alleged speed.

The numbers indicate a very close game, Bucky by .4

Watching this thread over the past 20 some hours has been, to say the least, informative and entertaining...
and while the Badger fans have been (for the most part) respectful of the BC team, and expect a close, well played, and well fought game, MOST of the BC fans have been arrogant, presumptous, and suffer from an incredible superiority complex and deep down, believe that there is no way on god's green Earth that anyone, let alone us puny badgers can play with them....
You know what???...so be it....the game will play out as it will, and if....IF BC should win, I suspect that Badger fans will be much more gratious in defeat then the BC fans would be if....IF Wisconsin should win....time will tell...
I still stand by my prediction when I started this thread, 4-2 Bucky....
But after watching this thread develop, there's a part of me hoping Bucky lays a beat down on BC, say, 8-2, just to hear the excuses as to why us puny Badgers thumped the Mighty Eagles....

I remember during the 2006 title game and Mike Eaves' son Ben Eaves (and Eagle great) sat behind the Eagles bench. Im sure both Eaves brothers will be in attendance for this game. Loyalties have gotta be strained in situations like this.

I've also watched and read the entire thing and politely disagree about what you said about BC fans and i am one of 'em.... arrogant, presumptuous et al whatever
. i read none of that and i also think there isn't one BC fan that doesn't respect Wisconsin as a great team and think that this has the makings of a classic..............just my opinion

And yes, we are arrogant. But I believe we've earned that right as the undisputed best college hockey team of the past 10-12 years.

This Badger fan respects the hell out of BC and what they have accomplished, both this year and throughout the entire history of the program. I am surprised/amused by the apparent need of some fans to feel they have been disrespected.

What he said. I wanna win. I'm quite sure we can. So can the other guys. These teams appear to be very evenly matched with a possible advantage going to Wisco due to the experience and offensive caabilities of their defensive corps. That being said, I'm in no way dismissing the capabilities of our own defensmen who, over the course of the last several months, have developed into a solid, dependable group themselves. Until somebody shows me that they can be shut down I still gotta believe that BC's speed will be the difference in this game. BC 5-3 with the last being an ENG.
