Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

As for Demko, my point was not a brawl occurring just that whining after the game likely results in a few more sticks slapping at him, maybe a few more whacks at the end of the play etc. Someone got under his skin enough so he felt the need to go have words after the game... that's precisely where UVM would like to be... under his skin. And I am sure no one on the team is too concerned with the whole BC team jumping in. If they feel like they need to, I'm sure UVM would be happy to oblige.
Building too much into this. #2 hit Matheson after the whistle (however lightly), everyone was paying attention to 21 (who tipped Matheson over) and Demko stood up for his guy by letting #2 know it. IMO, you can't get under Demko's skin. The kid is from another planet... loose as a goose.

As non eventful as the after the whistle shenanigans, I think it plays into BC'S favor. Your guy took a couple of wimpy swipes/shoves at our goalie. I don't think that will be forgotten. Eagles will make you pay on the scoreboard. :)

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

Sorry for the commentators... I've never really watched a game online but I'm sure they are like most home team announcers

no, they really weren't (at least not last night) and i watch every road game i dont get to online................. but don't be sorry, where else can you listen to a two man comedy duo AND watch Eagles for free?

Let's hope so, I was hoping to see more PP goals but their goalie was making outstanding saves. Finding a bathroom is more of a challenge there, I had to walk through enemy territory ))

Place reminds me of old Lawlor rink with the wooden seat benches

Hopefully, they won't let in last second goals or anymore goals off a face-off. I hate those type of goals.

Let's get #2 tonight, it's already better than the Maine trip )

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

You can imagine how shocked I was when I viewed the clips this morning and saw that the awful defense on that left side for UVM's second goal was #10. But seriously savage is going to sit because he made a mistake at the piszpot? This Linell thing is seriously ridiculous and I know it sounds silly since they are having a ridiculous season but still.

Also at the end looks like #2 got a shot in at Matheson and some numbnuts #21 maybe came behind and def slew footed Matheson.

So a win tonight clinches the Umile Memorial Cup.

I guess Savage will get the point that you, a blue chip stud, cannot make those kind of mistakes. BC cannot make those mistakes in the post season games or it is one and done.

And what point was Doherty getting for two months?

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

do we even know if linell will be on defense tonight?

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

But Linell can?

Maybe because Linell is an upper classman but I was disappointed Doherty wasn't playing in the beginning of the year to start. But like you, I'm scratching my head on this one. I'd rather have all solid D than a forward playing D.

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

according to the Kid Billet and Savage in, Linell and Demko out

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

not surprised by those moves at all. expected billett to either play against merrimack or one of these games at uvm

also expected savage to be back in for linell

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

decision was made wednesday to start billett tonight

Hallelujah! Just glad to have confirmation that Savage didn't fall into the same alternate reality Doherty did earlier.

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

another trophy in the bag. good to get that out of the way with uml on the horizon. now just pwr concerns.

great to see billett with 35 saves and being a part of winning the title.

only negative appears to be an injury to matheson

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

Congratulations to the Eagles on clinching the Hockey East regular season title.

Any news on Matheson?

yeah i was wrong, , i didnt but Jerry knows all. First two looked a little soft but no chance on the third. Overall he played pretty well.

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

Hokey will tell you it doesn't matter who's in net, or on D for that matter.
This is 3 man team in his eyes, and they're soft as hell to boot!

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham

Congrats on the Dick Umile Trophy. Hope these two teams meet again... (at the Garden not at Conte)

Re: BC Hockey '13-'14: The Quest To Make Holy Cross Transitive Property National Cham
