Brittain makes a nice stop on a Jimmy Hayes shorty chance.

BC 1 DU 0 end 1st period, good period, DU with some great chances

Zucker was cheap shotted near the end of the period and struggled to get off of the ice. Knee on knee with no penalty. Hopefully he isn't hurt too bad. Also Jon Cook is on in betwen periods and indicate that Mermis also hurt his hip in the period.

DU with some good puck movement. More up temp than last night. Score doesn't reflect it, but they didn't look like they were outclassed that first period.

DU has got to cash in on some of their scoring opportunities. Zucker had to be helped off of the ice at the end of the period. :mad:

Joe Whitney had the hit on Zucker.

Didn't see the hit, but if in fact it was knee on knee, not all collisions like that are intentional.

Saw it and saw the reply, it was not accidental. Waiting for a report from the locker room. DU coaches are not happy with the hit.
