Although to be fair last year we couldn't score and our D sucked, this year so far it's just the D sucking part.

I can't let this goofer sandbagging continue without a response. RIT isn't that good this year, Clarkson isn't that good this year, the first game against Miami was about as good as the Huskies get, and the second game Miami just felt bad for the Huskies and let them have a tie. The Huskies have a terrible power play, Hanowski thinks he's made of glass, and Roe forgot how to pass the puck. The goofers will be buzzing like hornets from a kicked nest... goofer sweep.

You swept the Gophers last year. Everything appears to be operating the same this year.

Huskies sweep and it isn't even close.

Nice try, but the goofers took all six games from the Huskies the season after they finished seventh... too similar to ignore.

Huskies will be swept in embarassing fashion.

I find it kind of funny that a team took over 20 years to do what RIT did in 3 years is acting all haughty and proud. SCSU is like the whiny little kid having a tantrum, just to get noticed.

You're absolutely right, how dare Husky fans act proud. Personally, I was so ashamed at my momentary lapse of joy after watching SCSU win their first ever NCAA game in person that I immediately went home and flagellated myself.

Also, maybe I'm reading the wrong thread, but show me a quote from an SCSU fan that even comes remotely close to "haughty".

Except nobody seems to care. The rodent fans have left the building. The Husky fans are apparently assuming this will not be much of a contest, resulting in a Husky sweep. It is what it is.

Maybe the Gophers actualy decide to show up for more than one period per game this weekend.....? Gophers come out flat in game one and get blown out. They come out equally as flat in game two on a boring Sunday afternoon with everyone, including the players, looking forward to the Sunday Night Football matchup between the queens and the fudgepackers and will manage a tie at best.

I will say this, though. When the Gophers made that comeback to tie the game at 4 last weekend, they really got Mariucci buzzin' (yes, we do make noise sometimes:D). So if the Gophers actually do decide to come out and play hockey for more than one period of the game, these games could actually be enjoyable.
