Finally saw The Big Short. I haven't been that angry and sad from a movie in a long time.
Also saw Spotlight which I didn't think I would like. I actually liked it a lot.

Locked in for $7 ticket for Suicide Squad on Fri. 9am showing, pretty darn sure that "crowd" will be sparse.![]()
You should look into those theaters where they have assigned seating - with the cushy recliners. The theater can be completely packed, but you still have all the space you'd want.
speaking of which, I just saw the Jason Bourne movie. The whole thing was good, but the final 40-50 minutes were phenomenal. The build up to the climax, the climax and the resolution were just designed so well. It's really hard to find a substantial flaw in the movie.
Edit: Also wanted to mention that carpool.com has AMC Gift Cards for 21% off their value. Not a bad way to save a couple of bucks if you go to an AMC theatre on a regular basis. Been able to stretch my movie dollar pretty far by doing this and getting a STUBS card.
Yea, CardPool.com. Didn't see that Autocorrect got that. My bad.Can you clarify what site exactly you are referring to? carpool.com is an empty domain that appears to be for sale.
edit: never mind. Looks like it is cardpool.com.
Well I can guarantee the showing will have a sparse crowd since the Shelard Theter closed 15 years ago or so(you meant Willow Creek I am guessing)
I was supposed to see Bourne yesterday but it fell through...hopefully I can see it next weekend. I was surprised when someone tipped me off that it got a pretty average RT score. Further proof that critics know dick![]()
Batman: The Killing Joke - I never once expected the final battle's ending, nor how the Joker starts his lure.
This is coming from a guy who has never read a DC comic book, so I came into this completely fresh. It was a really well written story, and Mark Hammill reall nails the voice. Too bad he couldn't ever put it out there in a live action movie. That voice is just eerie.
Snowden - this looks fantastic. It could be Oliver Stone's best film since JFK as you can see it's a real passion project. It's kind of terrifying and I can't wait to see it.
I don't know Stone's work outside of platoon, born on the 4th of July, the doors and JFK.I'm worried because it's Stone. The guy is turning into a lefty equivalent of Alex Jones.
Snowden is an important story to tell, and I hope the director sticks to the facts. There is enough in the actual facts to get people to light their torches and grab their bill hooks.

My initial guess is that whether Stone hews toward facts we know and agree on or also includes grey areas he's going to get nukedby the msm as a "conspiracy" nut
