Basketball 2017

I watched last 5 minutes, T wolves looked ok until 2 minutes left, turnover city after that.

I apologize in advance, but, go Minnesota.

Like I said, I am genuinely sorry.

The only series the Wolves should have won on paper will be the one they lose. I was hoping they’d be a cure for the sports fatalism around here, but they’ll instead feed it. (this post included)

Lynx are second in the power rankings. Maybe they could do something. The women's hockey team almost won the title. I think there is now a game 5. Screw the men's teams. Fools gold.

I guess I’m cheering for the Celtics? I don’t really care but I Cannot cheer for Dallas

antisemitic posting, flat earther kyrie or flopping, whining Luka. Luka is just so hard to watch because of the whining

Both those calls on towns were atrocious. Absolutely atrocious.

The dude was clearly sliding to his right…Van Gundy or Reggie Miller, sadly I won’t claim to know which one, says “He’s sliding but he kept his right foot down…great call.” Um, no. Dude doesn’t slide to his right, Towns slides right by him with no contact for an open lane to the basket. Brutal call. Textbook definition of blocking.
The other call…like I get the priority of protecting players’ heads, but my god, there has to be some leeway there. KAT was making a basketball play (jumping to pass). He didn’t extend his arm, elbow, nothing. If it’s a foul on the defender to not let a shooter land in the shooter’s little circle of control/sphere of influence after taking a jump shot, how is a ball handler not allowed to jump within his little area to make a basketball play if the defender’s face or any part of his body is within the ball handler’s sphere of influence? Stupid emphasis for a rule.

So, had Dallas won last night, both the Celtics and the Mavs would have to wait till June 6th to start the Finals? That seems...unnecessary. I get TV and everything but still. That's eight days. But now, looking forward to see if the T'Wolves can win another one.
