Maybe he can at UConn?

As to the new hire, I think the program needs a tie back to the Walsh era.

That's so believable. :rolleyes: Gwoz had a higher base at DU than Timmay, had far more ancillary income at DU than Timmay, and reportedly wanted more money. If you're trying to start a stupid rumor, go ahead. If you'd like to start one that will get some traction, you'll have to try a lot harder.

Has to be worth at least approaching, yeah? I'd be thrilled to get Gwoz if I were a Maine fan.

I would have been equally skeptical as you are about Gwoz about Maine taking a $190,000 hit on Tim...Why make such a brash move when you can let Whitehead go no strings attached in a year if you don't have someone like Gwoz in the pipeline? At a minimum start praying for it I know I am
