Ferris can score goals. UW is the #1 offensive team in the country with 73 goals in 18 games. Yale can also put the puck in the net, averaging over 4 goals a game as well, there will probably be a lot of scoring, UW is a very deep team with 4 lines that can score and very good defensively. Uw does have an x factor with 2 or 3 players being gone to the WJC but the reserves should be able to fill the holes nicely.

UW being "deep" this year is an understatement. The falloff from the players gone to the WJC will be minimal... As a non-season ticket holder (first year out of the student section, practicing something called "fiscal responsibility"), I'm excited to be able to take in these games. Should be fun, lots of points, and fresh opponents. Looking forward to it! :)

Unfortunately the art of using emotion icons is lost on young VW. Heck, three separate fanbases had to unite just to try to explain a simple concept to him. So sad. :( :eek: :cool:

Icon Tip: Try to incorporate more than one icon into each statement, as shown above. That way, you can "hide behind" more than one emotion at a time, and at the same time feel sadness, humor, coolness, and/or confusion towards a particular post. With a little bit of practice, anyone can accomplish their posting goals.

If using icons makes someone a Sally, then about 95% of the posters here are guilty...including you. :p

In regards to your age...let's see...you lack basic reading comprehension skills, you can't play along well with others, you for some reason can't utilize the simple Quote button properly, etc, etc...I'd say you're between 9-12 years old.

Goal differentials for the 4 teams:

Wisconsin: +35
Ferris St: +31
Yale: +17
Merrimack: +3

So even though Merrimack has a losing record, they've scored more than they've given up which is good to see. The Badgers might be lucky to get out of the weekend with 2 points considering the competition. Do they decide the matchups via shootout if OT expires at a tie?

Yes, in 2007 Colgate beat UW in a shootout.
