Or maybe ignorace is bliss and you keep buying what Powers is selling. Its probably hard for players to listen to a coach that has a worse playing resume than most of the players peewee coaches. why would 2 hometown guys decommit? something smells fishy ...

So what exactly is your end game? Should I no longer be a fan? I support Arizona State hockey. Coaches come and go at ASU, yet I support the programs. I liked Todd Graham, but the school opted to make a change in football. Will I no longer support football? Nope. I support the programs. Your complaints should be taken up with the administration. They can investigate and will do so if there is all of this proof you speak of. If not them, take it to the Board of Regents. That seemed to push Rodriguez out of Tucson. I do not dismiss anything you or denver are saying. I do dismiss him ranting at me over and over again. That was misplaced and out of line. As for decommits, I don't know and don't care. A person/fan could drive themselves nuts trying to keep up with how quickly a 17 or 18 year old changes their mind.

Rapidscity.... i actually thought he wasnt part of the end-game vision , as well until i saw the contract extension .... and Revs i dont have a complaint with the athletics department im just shedding some light on some shady business. I was reffering to what happened on monday. Imagine being the kid, investing years in the program. going in for a normal meeting that ends up saying youre off the team if you have a problem go talk to administration. Again i think you are turning a blind eye, especially i hope not a "parent" , midwesterndevil.

I have no idea this kid you are referring to. Is there a news story about it? Hurley lost his two 2 highly touted freshmen last season. Does that make him a horrible person? Maybe. But how would I know? Fans are not privy to the things you are talking about. Parents and athletes are. One of the football parents unleashed on Todd Graham on twitter after the Sun Bowl. So is Todd horrible? Obviously that parent thought so. And I'm sure others did as well. But there dozens of players that praised him. If there is something that comes out, I would re-evalaute my thoughts on our coach. But from a fans perspective, I see a program that has shown great progress on the ice and has achieved one of the highest GPA's in the classroom for men's sports.

That might tell me that it was not the coach, but the administration was involved with the dismissal of the player.

I can't wait for the announcement! Will be huge for the program and hockey in Phoenix. Look forward to seeing what else Adam has in his story he says is coming.

Not the Coach and if I wanted to say who I was I'd put my name as the screen name. However everyone know exactly who you are "Denver" and nobody misses you at the games. You continue to try to be a cancer to our boys team and its not working and never will. Maybe you should spend more time doing something more productive than living in the past? I was still wondering why no team has picked up your boy yet?

Last time I checked this was a "Fan" Forum, but this board seems to have been hijacked into becoming a "Parent" Forum. Maybe you all can start your own thread for disgruntled parents and allow this to be a place for "Fans" to discuss?

If coaches, athletics directors, and university presidents paid full credence to the smoke that so many anonymous fan forum posters blew about their schools, we'd all be without jobs. Are there problems? Maybe, and I'm too far from Tuscon to know. But to hear a couple of disgruntled keyboard jockeys (and I am one, so chill) go off about it but there not be any other words, well ... get real.

Been following your squad this year since your visit to Tempe. Playoffs are well within reach, but a tough stretch coming up! Wishing you good luck. WCHA is going to be a fun tourney this year.

A follow up to the above ... today the ABOR Business and Finance Committee unanimously approved the plan and it will now go to the the full board for their approval in February.
