Argument Thread for 2011-2012 DIII Opinion Poll

Re: Argument Thread for 2011-2012 DIII Opinion Poll

Tough to make much sense of things this early. I was trying not to exhibit eastern bias and picked 9 and 10 from out west (and I appreciate you including the Polar Bears, although their 3rd period against Plattsburgh was embarassing and it is tough to imagine anyone yielding 5 goals in 6:20 deserving to be ranked until they earn some Ws!!!). It is also difficult to get a true pecking order for the top contenders, although the Classic next weekend will shed more light on that topic.

I'll move this here.

I'd still keep them there...they hung with Platty for 54 minutes and then ran out of gas is what I hear. While it is shameful to give up that much in 6 minutes, it is forgiveable against Plattsburgh. I was a little shocked by all the love for the west...esp by Derek. But the teams that have been ranked, shouldn't really be ranked based on who they have played.

Purely based on records at this point until someone from outside the power six in the east does something.

Plus count me in on the st scholastica bandwagon. I say the saints are playing for the ncha title next season.
